The House was founded on 8th December 1990 as a Formation House “Madre Maria Teresa Spinelli”. It was later refurbished and inaugurated on July 30th, 2000, on the 150th Anniversary of the death of Mother Foundress. The Community’s Mission is to help the Parish from the Spiritual, economic and social point of view. The Parish is extensive consisting of other 24 chapels besides the Parish and each chapel demands its proper care at the expense of much sacrifices and dedication on our part. The people suffer from lack of education and therefore, need to receive from us very much love and care. The Parish suffering the lack of a Parish Priest expects from us all the care needed to respond to its needs. But thanks to the Good Lord of the Harvest, every trouble and problem arising, finds in us a spirit of union, commitment and a ready generous love, above all witnessing to God’s love and peace for his people
The Apostolate embraces Evangelization to all classes of Society; Apostolate with the families, youth, the sick; but above all the Apostolate of the daily Liturgy, the preparation and the administration of the Sacraments, Funeral services etc. Because of the shortage of priests and Mass is not a daily occurrence, the Celebration of the Word is daily accomplished by the Sisters. In addition there is the organization of Prayer groups, retreats, seminars and home visits and the daily distribution of food, clothes, medicines and other necessities.
