The Congregation of the Augustinian Sisters Servants of Jesus and Mary was founded in 1827 in Frosinone and remained there for the first years. Since then, it has spread to the four corners of the world . The communities are based on the ideals of the first community of Christians in Jerusalem.

Teresa Spinelli’s enthusiasm and love for God and neighbour was bequeathed to her daughters and since then it gave birth to various forms of Apostolate, all aimed to be of service to the people of God and to meet their needs according to the signs of the times.
